Credit Facilities

Important Announcement

Understand your Seattle Bank borrowing capacity, and ensure your line of credit is ready when you need it.

Seattle Bank members have ready access to reliable, cost-effective funding based on their available credit, stock, and collateral to support their advances. Regularly performing a test of your line of credit can verify—for you and your regulator—your ability to quickly access Seattle Bank funding. How Can You Test Your Line of Credit with the Seattle Bank?

At the Seattle Bank, we're here for our members—and ready to create a credit facility tailored to fit your individual needs.

General Line of Credit

Most Seattle Bank members qualify for a general line of credit—a particularly valuable tool for managing liquidity. With a Seattle Bank line of credit, funding is just a phone call away. Funds are wired or deposited to your Seattle Bank deposit account the same day.

A Seattle Bank line of credit allows you to borrow up to a specified percentage of your institution's total assets or the value of pledged collateral, whichever is lower. That way, you always know just how much you can borrow.

And there are no annual renewal fees. Unlike a typical line of credit, Seattle Bank lines of credit don't have specific maturities. Instead, each advance is structured as an individual loan, with its own term, interest-rate, and call features. This gives you maximum flexibility for managing interest-rate risk and changing cash needs.

Case-by-Case Credit Facility

For members with unique circumstances, a general line of credit may not be the right solution. That's why we also offer a case-by-case credit facility. This provides the convenience of same-day funding, individual advance terms, and low rates, but is not limited to a specified percentage of assets. The case-by-case facility can be tailored to fit the needs of specialized lenders, de novo institutions, members with unique collateral circumstances, or other specific requirements.
