A cooperative financial institution, the Seattle Bank provides approximately 365 community
financial institutions with access to wholesale funding that they can use to make
home mortgages, small business, and other loans to the members of their communities.
In addition, we give 10 percent of annual profits to fund projects that provide
affordable housing to people in need.
The Seattle Bank is located in Seattle, Washington, and employs approximately 150
individuals. One of 12 Federal Home Loan Banks in the U.S., the Seattle Bank offers
the amenities of a small company with the opportunities and resources of a large
corporation.
