Developing an Appropriate Investment Program for a Steep Yield Curve Environment
A Seattle Bank Web Seminar Archive
What are your investment options in a steep yield curve environment? Which investment
strategies are most advantageous for addressing interest rate risk?
For answers to these and other related questions, join FTN Financial’s Peter Taglia

for a steep yield curve environment. Peter and Walt will discuss:
- Where to invest, given increasing liquidity availability, regulatory on-balance sheet requirements, and negative arbitrage issues faced by many institutions
- Whole loan strategies in the context of addressing interest rate risk, especially under the new interagency guidelines
- The role of certain asset classes in bolstering asset sensitivity, including their observations on the current state of the mortgage-backed securities sector
